Job summary

Tedd Engineering is seeking an Electrical Support & Test Engineer to join our team. You will test control systems on bench and at customer sites, assist with commissioning and ongoing improvements of industrial machines, and provide technical support in dynamic field environments.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with industrial machinery, strong fault-finding skills, and the ability to communicate clearly with customers and internal teams while working on-site.

Qualifications

• Foundational electrical/mechatronics qualification; HND or apprenticeship accepted.
• Experience with electronic control panels in heavy machinery.
• Experience commissioning or supporting industrial machines in the field.

Responsibilities

• Testing control systems on bench and on machines.
• Provide detailed feedback to design team.
• Assist with creation and review of manuals and help guides.
• Provide customers with technical support and diagnostics.
• Collaborate with departments to resolve issues.

Education

Foundation Degree / HND / completed apprenticeship in electrical, electronic or mechatronics
