Job summary

GTC Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician for a fully onsite, 12-month contract in Oxfordshire. The role involves installation, maintenance, inspection, fault finding and repair of electrical plant and control equipment within a cutting-edge industrial facility.

You will support build, commissioning, and diagnostics across distribution, power conversion systems, and HV/LV considerations, working with engineering teams and Plant Responsible Officers to deliver safe,

Qualifications

C&G 2330 Level 3 Certificate or ONC/HNC in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
Apprentice-trained with industrial electrical experience.
Experience working on 3-phase power systems.
Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, inspection, testing, fault finding and repair activities.
Support the build and commissioning of new electrical plant and equipment.
Work across control systems, distribution systems and power conversion systems.
Assist with diagnostics and repairs on electrical and control equipment.
Produce and maintain technical documentation and safe systems of work.
Support ongoing operational and maintenance activities across the facility.
Work closely with engineering teams and Plant Responsible Officers to ensure safe and effective delivery of work.
