Job summary

Travail-Employment-Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician in Wetherby, England. The role involves installing, maintaining, testing and fault-finding electrical systems across commercial and industrial sites, with a focus on reliability and safety.

You will diagnose faults, perform planned and reactive maintenance, and work on automation and electro-mechanical systems in a dynamic team setting. A strong fault-finding background and AM2 are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial or commercial electrical environments.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of current electrical regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with electro-mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of electronics and control systems.
• Experience with automation and automated machinery.
• AM2 Qualification.
• Mechanical maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, test and fault-find commercial and industrial electrical systems.
• Support electrical installations across buildings, lighting and site infrastructure.
• Diagnose and repair faults quickly to minimise downtime.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.
• Work safely in line with electrical regulations and health & safety standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams on development projects.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovative solutions.
