Job summary

Elate Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in Matlock for a permanent, full-time position in a heavy manufacturing environment. You will perform preventative maintenance, fault finding and repairs, and contribute to continuous improvements across site machinery and systems.

The role requires an electrically biased engineer with hands-on experience in plant equipment, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

Electrical maintenance experience in heavy manufacturing/industrial environments.
Qualified electrical apprenticeship or equivalent.
Strong fault-finding skills on industrial electrical systems and machinery.
Experience with motors, drives, control panels, sensors, and automation equipment.
Knowledge of PLC fault finding is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned electrical maintenance on plant equipment.
Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimise downtime.
Support installation, commissioning and improvements projects.
Read electrical drawings and technical documentation.
Follow Safe Operating Procedures and ensure safe isolation of equipment.
