Jonathan Lee is seeking a skilled electrical maintenance technician to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of industrial machinery and control panels. You will diagnose faults, read schematics and support installation, relocation and commissioning activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifikationen

• Recognised electrical qualification from City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent.
• Experience in electrical maintenance and fault-finding in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, motor controls and control panels.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation.
• Experience with testing equipment including multimeters and insulation resistance testers.
• Solid knowledge of electrical safety, isolation and permit-to-work procedures.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise breakdowns in a production environment.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights.

Aufgaben

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across machinery, electrical systems and control panels.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimise production downtime.
• Maintain and fault-find on injection moulding machinery, automation systems and power distribution.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
• Carry out basic electrical installation, modifications and upgrades to control circuits and sensors.
• Undertake basic PLC fault-finding where trained and competent.
• Ensure safe isolation procedures and lockout/tagout (LOTO) processes are followed.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, job cards and equipment histories.
• Support machinery installations, relocations and commissioning activities.
• Assist with mechanical, pneumatic and basic hydraulic maintenance as required.
• Work with production/engineering to identify recurring faults and improve equipment reliability.
• Contribute to Lean and 5S continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain high health and safety, housekeeping and workshop organisation.
