Job summary

Aspion is seeking an In-House Electrical Maintenance Engineer in Poynton, Stockport. The role involves maintaining on-site electrical systems, performing fault finding and repairs, and contributing to general facilities maintenance.

The position offers a 37.5-hour week (Mon-Fri, 8:00–16:00), with a salary of £36,000 per annum, and benefits including a company car, pension, phone and on-site parking. IPaf, PAT training and a full UK driving licence are preferred.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical qualification or equivalent required.
• Strong electrical maintenance and fault-finding experience required.
• Experience in industrial/manufacturing environments is advantageous.
• IPAF Licence, EET/PAT training and general maintenance experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word; good organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site.
• Electrical testing, inspection and fault finding.
• Diagnose electrical faults and carry out repairs.
• Complete general maintenance and handyman duties when required.
• Carry out PAT testing and maintain records.
• Support the maintenance of site facilities, equipment and assets.
• Use Atlas or similar cloud-based systems to document work and manage assets.
• Ensure maintenance work is completed safely and in line with regulations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and inspection records.
• Support call-outs and additional maintenance requirements when necessary
