Aspion Search is recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical bias to join a leading UK manufacturer in Stockport. Salary is £40,000–£43,000 depending on experience.

Work hours are Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm, 40 hours per week with a 1-hour lunch break. You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production machinery and site services, fault-find using schematics, and support mechanical maintenance where needed.

Qualificações

• Apprentice Trained or equivalent with an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Maintenance
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (BS 7671)
• At least 2 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Good electrical fault finding and repair skills
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic drawings
• Mechanical maintenance knowledge and experience
• Independent worker with proactive problem-solving
• Good communication skills

Responsabilidades

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across manufacturing machinery, plant and site services.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults using schematic drawings to support fault finding.
• Support mechanical maintenance and repairs where required.
• Complete electrical installations including cabling, lighting and power supplies.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
• Monitor equipment condition and identify issues, recommending corrective actions.
• Work with production teams to minimise downtime and maintain efficiency.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety standards.

The company designs, manufactures and supplies products to customers worldwide. This is an opportunity to join an established manufacturing business in a hands on maintenance role, supporting a varied range of production machinery and site equipment.

Responsibilities of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across manufacturing machinery, plant and site services.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults, using schematic drawings to support fault finding.
• Support Mechanical maintenance and repairs where required.
• Complete Electrical installations, including cabling, lighting and power supplies.
• Assist with the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
• Monitor equipment condition, identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime and maintain efficient operations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all work complies with relevant legislation and safety standards.

Requirements of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

• Apprentice Trained or equivalent, with an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Maintenance, Electrical Installation or a relevant Multi Skilled discipline
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (BS 7671)
• At least 2 year’s Maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment
• Good Electrical fault finding and repair skills
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic drawings
• Mechanical Maintenance knowledge and experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a Maintenance team
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving problems
