Aspion Search is recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join a leading UK manufacturer in Stockport. The role covers planned and reactive maintenance across production equipment and site services, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

You will diagnose electrical faults using drawings, assist with installation of new machinery, monitor equipment health and minimise downtime. Apprenticeship trained with NVQ Level 3 and 18th Edition are required.

Qualifikationen

• Apprentice trained or equivalent with NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Maintenance.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
• Minimum 2 years' maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Good electrical fault-finding and repair skills.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic drawings.
• Mechanical maintenance knowledge and experience.
• Ability to work independently and in a maintenance team.

Aufgaben

Responsibilities of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across manufacturing machinery, plant and site services.

Requirements of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

• Apprentice Trained or equivalent, with an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Maintenance, Electrical Installation or a relevant Multi Skilled discipline
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (BS 7671)
• At least 2 year s Maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment
• Good Electrical fault finding and repair skills
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic drawings
• Mechanical Maintenance knowledge and experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a Maintenance team
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving problems
