Job summary

Smart Search Technical Ltd in the South of England is seeking an experienced Roller Shutter & Industrial Door Engineer to fit, service and repair industrial doors and security systems across government and commercial sites.

The role requires solid installation and maintenance experience, a DBS clearance, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to work independently while delivering high standards to customers.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with roller shutters and/or industrial doors.
• Good installation and maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical and practical engineering ability.
• Experience fault finding and carrying out repairs.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Good customer-facing and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to obtain DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Installation of roller shutters and industrial doors.
• Planned preventative maintenance and servicing.
• Fault finding, repairs and breakdown response.
• Mechanical adjustments and component replacement.
• Diagnosing faults and providing effective solutions.
• Completing service reports and paperwork.
• Working with customers and maintaining professional service.
• Travelling to customer sites across the South of England.
• Working within government, commercial and secure facilities.
