Job summary

TSM Technical seeks an Industrial Door Engineer to service military installations across the South West. You will deliver installation, maintenance, and support for industrial door systems, including aircraft hangar doors, in a small, focused team.

The role requires technical experience, strong problem-solving, and the ability to work independently or with others. Security clearance to access MOD sites is required or preferred, with opportunities to develop specialist skills in a unique sector.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Industrial Door Engineer or similar engineering role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and door technology.
• Engineering degree or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee industrial door installations to client requirements.
• Maintain safety and compliance across installations and sites.
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs for optimal function.
• Collaborate with clients to assess needs and provide recommendations.
• Troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions promptly.
• Maintain project documentation including designs and procedures.
• Stay up to date with door technology trends.
