Job summary

Additional Resources is seeking a Door Engineer / Door Technician to install, service and repair industrial and automatic door systems across customer sites in the South of the UK. The role is full-time permanent and offers a salary range of £40,000 - £50,000 with benefits.

Based in the South of the UK, you will cover Hampshire, Kent, Sussex, Dorset and surrounding areas, travelling between sites and maintaining high safety standards while liaising with customers and colleagues to ensure quality

Qualifications

• Approx. 2 years’ experience with industrial doors.
• A valid CSCS card is essential.
• Sound knowledge of installing, servicing and repairing industrial doors.
• The ability to work independently as well as with a wider team.
• A good understanding of health and safety requirements.
• A clean UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair industrial doors and associated equipment.
• Carry out inspections, identifying faults and resolving technical issues.
• Travel to customer sites across the South of the UK.
• Work safely and in line with health and safety requirements.
• Liaise professionally with customers and colleagues during site visits.
• Ensure work is completed safely and to the required standard.
• Service automatic and pedestrian door systems where required.

An opportunity has arisen for a Door Engineer / Door Technician to join a well-established security solutions provider, specialising in high-quality security, fire, and industrial door services across various sectors. As a Door Engineer / Door Technician, you will be installing, servicing and repairing industrial and automatic door systems across customer sites in the South of the UK. This full-time permanent role offers a salary range of £40,000 - £50,000 and benefits.

You will be based in the South of the UK, responsible for servicing clients across the region, ideally covering Hampshire, Kent, Sussex, Dorset, and the surrounding areas.

You will be responsible for

• Installing, maintaining and repairing industrial doors and associated equipment.
• Carrying out inspections, identifying faults and resolving technical issues.
• Travelling to customer sites across the South of the UK.
• Working safely and in line with relevant health and safety requirements.
• Liaising professionally with customers and colleagues during site visits.
• Ensuring work is completed safely and to the required standard.
• Servicing automatic and pedestrian door systems where required.

The candidates from the following background will be considered:

• Door Engineer, Industrial Door Engineer, Automatic Door Engineer, Door Technician, Shutter Engineer, Roller Shutter Engineer, Service Engineer, Door Fitter, or in a similar role.

What we are looking for

Essential:
