Job summary

Bolton Gate Company Limited seeks an Industrial Door Engineer to install and service manual and electrical rolling and folding steel shutters and doors in the South East of England. Travel to sites is required, with a focus on safe, compliant workmanship and timely delivery.

Desirable qualifications include IPAF, CSCS, PASMA or City & Guilds, driving licence, and strong English communication. The role offers a competitive salary and training opportunities, with core hours and travel time

Qualifications

IPAF, CSCS, PASMA or City & Guilds certification(s).
Proof of right of work in the UK is essential.
A Full UK Driving Licence or equivalent is essential.
Ability to communicate well in English, both written and spoken.
Willingness to train and learn on different products.

Responsibilities

Mechanical installation of manual and electrical rolling and folding steel shutters and doors.
Travel to site addresses and complete works on time.
Work on construction sites, commercial or industrial settings.
Read general arrangement drawings and measure as required.
Follow Method Statements and Risk Assessments; complete a Point of Work Risk Assessment.
Set out works from datums and drill fixing holes as indicated.
Demonstrate and hand over product to customers and complete handover documentation.
Ensure safe working practices and secure unfinished works; load/off-load materials.
