Job summary

Professional Technical Ltd. is seeking an Industrial Door Engineer to cover the North West region, including Manchester, Liverpool and Bolton.

The role involves visiting distribution centres, retail outlets, and other sites to install, service, maintain and repair a wide range of industrial door equipment. A strong base salary of £40,000 is offered, with excellent overtime and a brand-new company van equipped with the latest technology.

Qualifications

• Practical experience with dock levellers, dock shelters, and loading bay equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Experience identifying and recommending additional remedial works on site.
• Installation experience.
• Electrical, welding, or hydraulic experience.

Responsibilities

• Visit distribution centres, retail outlets and other customer sites.
• Install, service, maintain and repair industrial door equipment.
• Work across roller shutters, high-speed doors, overhead doors, sectional doors, rapid roll doors, gates and barriers, or automatic doors.

A highly reputable and well-respected manufacturer of high-quality industrial doors, including roller shutters, sectional doors, dock levellers, and automatic entrance systems, is looking for an Industrial Door Engineer to cover the North West, including Manchester, Liverpool, and Bolton.

As an Industrial Door Engineer, you will be visiting a variety of well-known distribution centres, retail outlets, and other exciting customer sites, carrying out installation, service, maintenance, and repair work on a wide range of industrial door and loading bay equipment.

Key Qualifications

• Practical experience with dock levellers, dock shelters, and loading bay equipment, including roller shutters, high‑speed doors, overhead doors, sectional doors, rapid roll doors, gates and barriers, or automatic doors.
• Excellent customer service skills.
