Job summary

Samuel Frank is seeking an experienced Project Manager in Warwickshire to lead Industrial Automation & Electrical Engineering projects from specification through installation and handover.

The role demands supplier-side delivery experience, knowledge of electrical controls and PLC/SCADA, plus strong budgeting and stakeholder management. Hybrid working, competitive package, and UK site travel are included.

Qualifications

• Experience managing electrical controls, automation or systems integration projects for an engineering supplier, contractor or systems integrator.
• Technical knowledge of three-phase low-voltage power and control design, with working knowledge of PLC and SCADA applications (not a programming role).
• Strong commercial project management skills, including budgeting, planning, supplier management and customer communication.
• Ability interpreting specifications, resolving site issues and coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Full driving licence and willingness for UK site visits, occasional overseas travel, and weekend/shift work.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver projects against budgets, milestones and quality requirements; manage forecasts, variations and claims.
• Act as main customer contact; coordinate internal teams, suppliers, subcontractors and site contractors.
• Contribute to tenders and proposals; interpret specifications and assess quotations.
• Coordinate design, electrical programmes, reviews and approvals.
• Oversee health and safety and risk assessments; ensure final as-commissioned drawings.
