Job summary

Staffline is recruiting Cleaning Operatives for the Hams Hall site in Birmingham. The role is full-time with fixed shifts from 2pm to 10:30pm, Monday to Friday. You will maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety across the site to support a safe and productive manufacturing environment.

The rate of pay is £14.14 per hour, with a temp-to-perm pathway after a qualifying period. Full training will be provided for operating industrial cleaning equipment and following COSHH

Qualifications

• Previous experience in industrial, commercial or factory cleaning is desirable but not essential.
• Physically fit and able to stand, walk, bend and lift as required.
• Committed to working safely in a busy industrial environment.
• Reliable, punctual and self-motivated.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions, including standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean manufacturing floors, production lines, walkways, warehouses and communal areas.
• Deep-clean and sanitise restrooms, break rooms, offices and cafeteria areas.
• Operate industrial cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers, pressure washers and specialist vacuums. Full training will be provided.
• Collect, separate and dispose of industrial and general waste safely and responsibly.
• Follow all health and safety procedures, COSHH regulations and site risk assessments.
• Keep cleaning equipment and machinery clean, safe and in good working order.
• Report any equipment defects or safety concerns promptly.
