Job summary

We are seeking an Industrial Cleaner for the Hygiene Department. Reporting to the Hygiene Manager you will be responsible for providing an efficient and effective cleaning service across the factory areas, dismantling equipment as needed for cleaning.

The role requires self-motivation, good communication and the ability to meet tight deadlines. Overtime is required at times to meet production demands, with a range of onsite benefits including enhanced holiday and pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated to ensure all jobs are completed on time.
• Communication and organisation skills.
• The ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Flexible and able to work overtime as and when required to meet factory demands.
• The ability to maintain and improve on our high levels of hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level cleaning service to specific areas of the department.
• Dismantle relevant production equipment to enable cleaning to be carried out.
• Clean equipment, tables, lines, walls and floors etc.
• Clean waste bins and drains after production is completed.
• Use cleaning chemicals as instructed and in a safe manner.
• Ensure compliance with company cleaning standards.
• Follow a planned cleaning schedule.
