Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking a full-time Industrial Cleaner to join our cleaning and facilities teams for 40 hours per week. Based at one of our venues, you will perform industrial cleaning tasks, follow the schedule, and help deliver outstanding service to clients and customers.

The role requires CoSHH and Manual Handling awareness, willingness to work Mon-Fri days, and a proactive, safety-focused attitude. Training and development opportunities are available within our large UK-wide operation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an industrial cleaning role.
• CoSHH and Manual Handling awareness.
• Water Jetting license.
• City & Guilds Confined Space training.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A positive, flexible, and proactive attitude.
• Commitment to Health & Safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out industrial cleaning tasks in line with the agreed schedule of works.
• Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
• Supporting the Supervisor and Site Manager to deliver an excellent service.
• Maintaining strong client relationships by following instructions and providing professional service at all times.
• Promoting safe working practices and reporting any health & safety issues, accidents, or near misses.
• Maintaining a clean, hygienic, and safe working environment.
• Attending training, toolbox talks, and team meetings to continually improve skills and knowledge.
