Job summary

Pinnacle Group is seeking an experienced Industrial Cleaner for the days shift at our Rocester site. You’ll maintain high cleanliness standards, clean industrial equipment and work areas, and handle specialised tasks as part of a dedicated on-site team.

The role requires be detail-oriented, physically fit, and able to work with heavy-duty cleaning equipment and chemicals within a COSHH-compliant environment. Training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with working to tight schedules.
• Physically fit and capable of using industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Able to read and write English confidently due to paperwork.
• Manual handling required; some tasks involve working at height or in confined spaces.
• High-level deep cleaning and safe operation of cleaning tools.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning of Paint booths / Welding / Shot blast area including jet washing, floor scrubber drier, confined space cleaning, high-level cleaning and other specialist cleaning duties.
• Operate industrial electrical cleaning equipment and power tools, including hammers, chisels and Dry Ice Blaster, in accordance with health and safety and COSHH regulations.
• Waste management– collection, transportation, and storage of waste for both internal and external areas.
• Ensure stores and equipment are kept secure and in accordance with health and safety requirements.
• Carry out any reasonable task requested by the Managers and Supervisors.

Job description

Pinnacle Group is looking for an experienced Industrial Cleaner – Days to maintain high standards of cleanliness at our manufacturing site. You will be joining our Workplace Specialist Industrial Cleaning Team based in Rocester, ST14.

Pinnacle Workplace delivers tailored facilities management solutions across cleaning, security, catering and specialist industrial services. With nearly 600 colleagues nationwide, the team supports clients in manufacturing, retail, education and office environments.

Your role will be tohandle the overall day-to-day management of the cleaning operation on-site in a safe, efficient and professional manner, includingcleaning of industrial equipment, floors, and work areas, as well as handling specialised cleaning tasks.

You will need to be detail-oriented, physically fit, and capable of working with heavy-duty cleaning equipment and chemicals.

This is a Full-Time Permanent Day Shift working Monday to Friday with a choice of start time anytime from 7am up to 9am, working 7 ½ hour shifts per day, totalling 37.5 hours per week.
