We are seeking a dedicated Industrial Cleaner / Facility Operative to join a luxury automotive brand based in Daventry on a permanent basis, offering a salary in the region of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, with an eye for detail and finesse, ensuring the facility is maintained to high standards and kept clean and organized.

The Industrial Cleaner / Facility Operative will be responsible for cleaning all areas of the facility, including workshops, production areas, reception, restrooms, canteens, and break rooms. Tasks include using various cleaning techniques such as floor cleaning machines, dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, window cleaning, and polishing. The role also involves ensuring the facility is sanitized, stocked, and maintained, which may include painting, hanging frames, and other minor maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the facility.
• Clean and perform maintenance in workshop and production areas.
• Perform cleaning duties including tidying, dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, window cleaning, and polishing.
• Handle maintenance tasks such as painting, changing light bulbs, and hanging pictures.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Facility Manager.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience in commercial cleaning and facility maintenance.
• Experience in an automotive, engineering, or manufacturing environment is desirable.
• An interest in the automotive industry is a plus.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in work.

Hours:

Day Shift: Monday – Thursday and Friday, with opportunities for overtime on weekdays and Saturdays.
