Job summary

Static Chiller Engineer role in Tamworth focusing on workshop-based service, repair, refurbishment and testing of process cooling equipment. Provides technical support to customers and field engineers, with a 37.5-hour week.

Requires experience servicing chillers, strong fault-finding skills, and Valid F-Gas Certification, plus relevant refrigeration/mechanical/electrical qualifications. Competitive package with life cover and pension options.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing and repairing chillers or process cooling equipment.
• Strong refrigeration and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Valid F-Gas Certification.
• Relevant refrigeration, mechanical or electrical qualifications.
• Ability to interpret technical and electrical drawings.
• Experience providing technical support and diagnosing equipment faults.
• Good organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair industrial chillers and process cooling equipment
• Diagnose refrigeration, electrical and mechanical faults
• Refurbish and test equipment before returning it to customers
• Provide technical support to customers and field service engineers
• Manage workshop repairs, equipment testing and job schedules
• Prepare repair assessments and parts and labour estimates
• Maintain accurate service records and workshop safety standards
