Job summary

White Recruitment Limited is seeking a Chiller Engineer in Bedford to service and maintain air-cooled and water-cooled chillers across commercial sites.

You will diagnose faults, carry out reactive repairs and contribute to system upgrades, with full UK driving licence and strong customer-facing skills.

The role includes a company van, overtime, generous leave, ongoing manufacturer training and clear career progression.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of air-cooled and water-cooled chiller systems.
• Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills across refrigeration and electrical systems.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, servicing, and reactive repairs on a range of air-cooled and water-cooled chiller systems.
• Diagnose and rectify refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical faults across commercial customer sites.
• Commission new chiller installations and support system upgrades where required.
• Provide technical support and recommendations to customers to maximise system performance and efficiency.
• Complete service reports and maintenance documentation accurately using company systems.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with F-Gas regulations and health & safety standards.
