Job summary

Vector Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a Reactive Chiller Engineer to cover the Midlands and wider UK from Redditch depot. You will lead installations, commissioning, and fault-finding on large-scale air-cooled chillers in critical commercial/industrial environments.

The role requires F-Gas Refrigeration certification, a clean UK driving licence, and DBS clearance. Benefits include enhanced pay and overtime, with nationwide travel and yard-based duties when not deployed.

Qualifications

• F-Gas Refrigeration certification and a clean UK Driving Licence are required.
• DBS check is required as part of the compliance process.
• Experience with large-scale air-cooled chillers and temporary chillers is essential.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, service and decommission temporary commercial air‑cooled chillers and chilled water systems.
• Provide reactive breakdown response and fault-finding on complex chiller plants and distribution circuits.
• Support Redditch depot operations when not deployed, including workshop servicing and equipment prep.
• Interface with BMS controls and modify pipework for temporary hire setups.
