Job summary

Syspro is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with customers, discover value from AI-driven Torque deployments, and drive production rollouts. You’ll work across pilot sites, aligning AI capabilities with customers’ ERP data and operations, with remote engagements and on-site when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science or a related field; or equivalent practical experience
• Certification in AI/ML, data engineering or a cloud platform (e.g., Azure, AWS or Google Cloud) is beneficial
• ERP product certification (Syspro or comparable) is beneficial

Responsibilities

• Identify operational problems with pilot customers where Torque creates the most value and test the value proposition against reality
• Prototype, deploy, measure outcomes quickly and keep what works while cutting what does not
• Own deployment end-to-end at assigned accounts from technical discovery through production rollout
• Define a first-value milestone with each customer and drive the engagement to reach it quickly
• Connect, configure and extend Torque against the customer’s ERP and data, whether they run Syspro or another system
• Enable customer teams to run Torque themselves and show value in their own numbers
• Engage customers remotely while building trust from shop floor to executive sponsor and support presales with technical depth in demos
