Your new role in Indirect Tax Advisory:

Working for a well-established advisory tax practice you will be at the heart of an exciting and growing firm who are doing things slightly different to a typical general practice. You will be working in a growing indirect tax team getting involved in a range of VAT advisory matters with client base including large business down to SMEs & Start-ups.

A very interesting operation across the UK you will form part of a national advisory team being based in Manchester. This organisation offers exciting and challenging work, without a big firm feel.

A snapshot of key responsibilities include:

1. Working directly with partner team planning and implementing VAT work.
2. Projects will include restructuring/reorganisations, M&A tax structuring, due diligence and other transaction work.
3. Technical report writing supporting clients.
4. Working with other tax areas to support on wider tax advisory matters.
5. Working across the wider team to spot cross selling opportunities.

What you'll need to be successful:

1. UK indirect tax/VAT experience in a similar role working for an accountancy firm or supporting an in-house operation with advisory services.
2. CTA/ACA/ATT qualified (however substantial experience can also be considered).
3. A passion for indirect tax advisory with a can do attitude.
4. Ability to demonstrate delivery of VAT advisory and complex compliance projects.
