A nationally recognised tax consultancy is expanding its Indirect Tax team and is now hiring a Manager or Assistant Manager from either its Birmingham or Nottingham office. This hybrid role offers variety, exposure to high-level projects, and the support of a deeply experienced team.
Advising on VAT aspects of M&A transactions, from risk assessment to due diligence
Maximising VAT recovery on acquisition, refinancing, and restructuring costs
Supporting clients with real estate VAT across residential and commercial deals
Tackling post-Brexit VAT reporting and registration issues across global supply chains
Leading partial exemption reviews in FS, healthcare, and property sectors
3+ years' experience in indirect tax (AM level) or 4+ years (Manager level)
Background in practice, HMRC, or in-house
Ideally CTA and/or ACA qualified (or equivalent experience)
Strong client communication skills and a proactive mindset
Competitive salary (benchmarked against major firms)
Hybrid working (Birmingham or Nottingham office)
