Grant Thornton UK LLP is seeking an Indirect Tax Associate Director to lead scoping, delivery and billing of client work. You will provide technically accurate advice on VAT matters and guide others while maintaining quality and risk standards.

The role requires experience with a diverse client portfolio, strong business writing, and the ability to lead projects to completion in a collaborative, hybrid working environment.

Formación

• Experience of VAT / Indirect Taxes in advisory or in-house environments.
• CTA / ATT or equivalent tax qualification preferred.
• Ability to manage a large and varied portfolio of indirect tax clients.

Responsabilidades

• Scope, deliver and bill client work with high quality technical advice.
• Guide junior staff in research and production of work.
• Provide technically accurate advice on indirect tax matters with legislative knowledge.
• Explain complex issues clearly to stakeholders with varying tax knowledge.
• Produce technical work suitable for client communication with minimal review.
• Review colleagues' work for quality and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with the firm's risk management processes on assignments.
• Manage billing, gross margin, utilization and WIP.
