Job summary

3R Technology Global in Oxford is seeking reliable Machine Operators / Mechanical Operatives for the day shift. This hands-on role focuses on operating production machinery and providing basic mechanical support, while learning from engineers during installation and commissioning.

Successful candidates will have a mechanical or engineering background, a practical understanding of how machinery operates, and the ability to work independently after training.

Qualifications

• Preferably a mechanical, engineering, maintenance or machinery background.
• Able to learn production machinery operation.
• Willing to work alongside engineers during installation and commissioning.
• Capable of working independently after training.
• Strong practical mechanical understanding and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery safely and efficiently.
• Learn operating procedures and controls for site machinery.
• Work with engineers during installation, testing and commissioning.
• Inspect machinery and identify abnormal noises or faults.
• Carry out routine checks and basic maintenance tasks.
• Escalate significant faults to engineers or management.
• Report defects and maintenance needs promptly.
• Follow health and safety and lock-out procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized area around machinery.
• Support other production duties as required.
• Possess forklift licence for material movement.
