Job summary

Home Group Limited is seeking a Housing Support Worker to help customers live independently and stay connected within the community. The role involves working in a homelessness service, providing person-centred support, and traveling between clients during the day.

You will collaborate with health and recovery teams to empower customers while upholding dignity and respect. This full-time position offers development opportunities with excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting others, professionally or personally.
• Able to work on your own initiative, stay calm under pressure.
• Recognise every customer is different and adapt approach accordingly.
• Passion to help customers live independently.

Responsibilities

• Work in Homelessness service (large 50 bed service).
• Support customers to promote independent living in the community and in-service settings.
• Travel between customers during your working day.
• Create a safe, positive space where dignity and respect come first.
• Collaborate with Recovery, Drug & Alcohol, Mental Health teams to empower customers.
