Job summary

BEST LIVES LIMITED is seeking dedicated Support Workers to help adults with learning disabilities, autism and other needs live life on their own terms. You will provide person-centred support, encouraging independence, dignity and inclusion in day-to-day activities.

You will work as part of a supportive team, delivering high-quality care and building strong relationships with individuals, their families and professionals.

Qualifications

• Caring, compassionate and reliable individual with good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible and able to work evenings, weekends and sleep-ins as required.
• Previous experience is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support in line with individual support plans
• Promote independence, dignity and respect at all times
• Support with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, shopping and budgeting
• Assist individuals to access the community and social activities
• Maintain accurate daily records and documentation
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and professionals
• Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures
