Job summary

BEST LIVES LIMITED is seeking compassionate Support Workers to help adults with learning Disabilities and other needs live independently and participate in the community. You will support daily living, accompany individuals to activities and outings, and contribute to person-centred plans to promote dignity and choice.

We value empathy, patience and reliability, and offer training and ongoing support. A flexible shift pattern, including evenings and weekends, is expected to fit how we operate

Qualifications

• Experience in social care is desirable but not required.
• Strong communication and empathetic approach.
• Flexible to shifts incl evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support in line with individual support plans.
• Promote independence, dignity and respect at all times.
• Support with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, shopping and budgeting.
• Assist individuals to access the community and social activities.
• Maintain accurate daily records and documentation.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and professionals.
• Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures.
