Job summary

Salvation Army Homes in England is seeking an Independent Living Skills Coach to support young people through meal prepping, budgeting and tenancy skills, helping them grow confidence to live independently.

Two weekend roles are available: one Saturdays and Sundays 7.30am–3.30pm, the other Saturdays and Sundays 1pm–9pm. The team offers a competitive benefits package and a mission-driven workplace.

Over time, you help them learn to budget, manage a tenancy, and rebuild confidence. You’re not just teaching skills, you’re helping someone believe they can thrive independently, while knowing they’ve got someone they can trust walking alongside them.

The opportunity

We have two roles available offering weekend working: one role working Saturday & Sunday 7.30am > 3.30pm.

The second role working Saturday & Sunday 1pm > 9pm.

As an Independent Living Skills Coach, you’ll walk alongside them, helping them cook a meal, budget for bills, apply for college, or simply believe in themselves again.
