Job summary

Fairer Fostering Partnership is seeking independent, self-employed Form F Assessors in Stamshaw, Portsmouth, to undertake competency-based assessments for prospective foster carers. You will be contracted on a part-time basis as a self-employed role, with invoicing responsibilities.

Assessors will gain comprehensive professional support and training, plus travel expenses. Fees are up to £2,300 per assessment, with ongoing progression updates to the fostering recruitment manager and the panel

Qualifications

• Independent, self-employed Form F Assessors.
• Competency-based Form F assessments for prospective Foster Carers.
• Ability to facilitate invoicing for Fair Ways.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Present findings to the Fair Ways Independent Fostering panel.

Responsibilities

• Undertake competency-based Form F assessments for prospective Foster Carers.
• Build relationships and manage sensitive information.
• Analyze applicants' skills, identify strengths/weaknesses and development needs.
• Present assessments to the Fair Ways Independent Fostering panel.
• Provide progress updates to the fostering recruitment manager.
• Receive admin support for statutory checks.
