Robert Hurst Limited is seeking an Approved Electrician to join our client’s team, performing electrical maintenance, reactive works and minor installations across multiple sites.

You will work independently, ensuring high standards and compliance with BS 7671. There may be opportunities for Testing & Inspection duties if qualified. A valid DBS check and full UK driving licence are desirable for site travel.

Formación

• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
• Experience in electrical maintenance and minor installation works.
• Ability to work independently and use initiative.
• Strong understanding of electrical health and safety requirements.
• Recent Enhanced DBS check is essential.
• Good communication and customer-facing skills.
• Full UK driving licence advantageous for site travel.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance.
• Complete minor electrical installation and modification works.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults.
• Carry out repairs, replacements and remedial works.
• Install and replace electrical accessories, equipment and components.
• Undertake basic testing and inspection where suitably qualified.
• Complete electrical testing and certification where required.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with current BS 7671 requirements.
• Work safely and comply with site health & safety procedures.
• Complete job sheets, reports and relevant documentation.
• Liaise professionally with clients, site staff and other contractors.
• Travel between various sites as required.
