Job summary

Robert Hurst Limited is seeking experienced Approved Electricians to work on water utility and water treatment projects. The role focuses on electrical installation and maintenance within industrial environments, following strict health and safety and site requirements.

Candidates must hold an ECS Gold Card, Level 3 electrical qualification, BS7671, and EUSR. You should read drawings, install containment, terminations, LV systems, and work both independently and as part of a site team.

Qualifications

Approved Electrician with ECS Gold Card and Level 3 electrical qualification.
BS7671 Wiring Regulations qualification.
Experience on water utility or water treatment sites with EUSR card.
Ability to read and work from electrical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

Carrying out electrical installation and maintenance works across water utility sites.
Installation and termination of electrical cabling.
Installation of containment and associated electrical equipment.
Working on LV electrical systems.
Installation and connection of motors, pumps and associated equipment.
Working from electrical drawings and schematics.
Carrying out work in accordance with site RAMS and permit-to-work procedures.
Maintaining a high standard of health and safety at all times.
Working alongside other electrical, mechanical and site personnel.
Ensuring work is completed to the required quality and project standards.
