Job summary

PwC is seeking a solutions-focused Manager in a fast-paced Independent Firm Services environment across the UK. You will advise practice teams on independence requirements and help structure services effectively, while ensuring seamless operational efficiency.

You will coach junior members, liaise with senior stakeholders, and support audit tenders with independence considerations. Expect cross-firm collaboration and opportunities to influence major client rotations.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of independence or conflict rules (training provided).
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent communication skills, including delivering difficult messages to senior leaders.
• Strategic thinker with attention to detail and strong project management.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to manage teams.

Responsibilities

• Advising practice teams on independence requirements and navigating regulations.
• Managing key independence processes for operational efficiency.
• Coaching junior team members to enhance knowledge and soft skills.
• Working with senior stakeholders across the firm and network.
• Supporting audits tenders and transitions with independence considerations.
• Collaborating with engagement teams on non-audit services and tool permissibility.
