Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager for the UK Independence Team to support high‑profile Independence matters within the RM function. The role focuses on interpreting requirements, advising on compliant service structures, and leading projects with senior stakeholders.

You will balance regulatory rigour with commercial awareness, contributing to an accountable, continuously improving operating model. You will work with service lines, Quality teams and client partners to deliver timely, commercially informed

Qualifications

• Our experience in Risk Management and regulatory contexts informs our guidance.
• Ability to interpret Independence requirements and tailor them to practical guidance.
• Strong analytical and judgement skills with attention to detail.
• Experience collaborating with service lines, leadership and risk teams.
• Proven capability to lead on Independence projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Proactively develop knowledge of EY services and independence requirements.
• Provide guidance on structuring services in a compliant, practical manner.
• Design and oversee safeguards to support responsible service delivery.
• Ensure independence consultations are sound, timely and well documented.
• Monitor Independence compliance and support related tools and frameworks.
• Lead on specific Independence projects and drive continuous improvement.
• Coach and develop others to build capability within the team.
