Job summary

Riverside is seeking an Income and Administration Officer to manage rent arrears, income administration, and customer support at The Quays in Sittingbourne. The role focuses on sustaining tenancies and maximising rental income within a committed team.

The ideal candidate will have experience with vulnerable customers, strong communication skills, and proficiency with literacy, numeracy and IT systems. This on-site role requires flexibility to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Experience with vulnerable and diverse customer groups.
• Experience in a customer-facing environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to empathise with customers facing issues.
• Be confident and consistent and capable of making decisions to manage rent arrears.
• Competent literacy, numeracy and IT systems skills.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for arrears management, rent collection and maximising income.
• Provide guidance and advice to customers to ensure financial inclusion.
• Produce reports and other communications to support income management delivery.
• Maintain tenancy information, rent accounts and financial information on digital platforms.
• Generate rent statements and assist with income monitoring.
