Job summary

Gloucester City Homes Limited is seeking a Finance Officer (Income & Debtors) to uphold strong financial controls and effective income management. You will raise debtor invoices, reconcile rent transactions and support financial reporting with accurate records across the organisation.

You will monitor debtor balances, contribute to cashflow forecasting, and assist with internal and external audits by maintaining robust records and adherence to policies. AAT Level 2 is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of accounts receivable, debtor management and financial administration processes.
• Strong numerical and reconciliation skills to process and maintain accurate financial records.
• Awareness of the importance of financial accuracy and reconciliation processes within a finance environment.
• Strong systems skills to process financial transactions and maintain accurate records across finance and housing systems.
• Knowledge of VAT requirements and financial controls relevant to processing customer invoices and payments.
• AAT Level 2 qualification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Raise debtor invoices accurately and promptly across all Group companies.
• Reconcile rent accounting and rental income transactions.
• Monitor and report on debtor balances to support debt management and cashflow forecasting.
• Assist with internal and external audit processes by maintaining accurate records.
