Job summary

Community Integrated Care is seeking an Income Coordinator – Commissioned Funding to join our Finance Centre of Excellence in Widnes. The role focuses on invoicing Local Authorities and ICBs, reconciling payments, and resolving funding issues to sustain service delivery.

The 12-month fixed-term contract offers flexible hours (four days) and a supportive team committed to accuracy and strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English required.
• Experience in a finance or accounts environment.
• Experience processing and managing large volumes of data.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Good IT and systems skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborative approach and strong team ethic.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate invoices for Local Authorities, ICBs and personal contributions using the Income Processing System.
• Ensure admissions, discharges and funding changes are reflected in billing records.
• Allocate and reconcile high volumes of incoming cash receipts accurately and promptly.
• Investigate payment discrepancies and liaise with Local Authority contacts to resolve issues.
• Build positive relationships with external customers to ensure efficient billing processes.
• Work with operational teams and finance colleagues to obtain funding information.
• Support funding uplifts, contractual changes, new business activity, mergers and acquisitions.
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and controls across income.
• Help deliver a sector-leading income management service for sustainability.
