Job summary

London South East Colleges is seeking Teaching Assistants to support learners in our Early Years and Primary phases. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and experience working with children with special needs, including autism.

The successful candidates will join a friendly, supportive team with opportunities for further training and a potential for permanency. We provide a bespoke CPD programme and upskilling opportunities, with EHCP-focused support

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Experience of working with children with special needs, including autism, is essential.
• Experience in Early Years, Primary or Special settings is valued for tailoring learning programmes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Early Years and Primary classrooms.
• Deliver tailored and personalised learning programmes for children with SEND.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to support learning and development.
• Participate in the bespoke CPD programme and ongoing training.
• Contribute to an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
