Job summary

Short Heath Federation is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant on a temporary, term-time contract to join Short Heath Junior School. The role is 30 hours per week, within a dynamic team supporting inclusive education and a new specialist provision.

You will work across provisions with experienced staff dedicated to meeting diverse learning needs. You will be expected to bring nurturing approaches, trauma-informed practice and a willingness to collaborate to support children with communication

Qualifications

• Nurture training, trauma-informed responses, relational practice.
• Experience of working with children with communication and interaction differences.

Responsibilities

• Support learning in the new Specialist Resource Provision.
• Collaborate with a team of teachers and teaching assistants.
• Support children with SEN/SEMH needs across provisions.
• Work with the HOPE Team and school therapists as needed.
