Job summary

University College Birmingham is seeking a Student Enrichment Officer to help FE students engage in activities that build confidence, independence, communication and employability. The role focuses on inclusive enrichment for all students, with particular attention to those with SEND and High Needs.

You will work with learners and colleagues to identify barriers, plan accessible enrichment, and promote opportunities beyond the main programme.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting young people in education or community settings.
• Commitment to inclusive practice and safeguarding.
• Able to communicate clearly with colleagues and learners.

Responsibilities

• Promote and coordinate enrichment activities for FE students.
• Support students with SEND/High Needs to participate.
• Collaborate with staff and external partners to remove participation barriers.
• Maintain records and assist with safeguarding requirements.
