Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher for a specialist setting in Corby, Northamptonshire. The role focuses on delivering differentiated lessons and supporting students with a range of additional learning needs, including autism and SEMH, to help them reach their potential.

The successful candidate will work within a nurturing environment, collaborating with TAs, SENCOs and therapists, and contribute to EHCP targets, safeguarding, and progress reviews.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS or an appropriate recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching SEN in mainstream or specialist settings.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and EHCP processes.
• Ability to adapt lessons and support diverse needs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to learners' needs.
• Support students with autism, ADHD, SEMH and other needs.
• Create inclusive classroom environment encouraging confidence and independence.
• Work with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs and therapists.
• Monitor progress against targets and maintain records.
