The ideal candidate will hold QTS, have experience with SEN and autism, and be skilled in differentiating lessons to suit varied ability levels. A nurturing, patient, and collaborative approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching primary-aged pupils.
• Experience working with SEN, particularly autism and additional learning needs.
• Confident differentiating lessons for pupils working at different levels.
• Patient, resilient, creative and passionate about inclusive education.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
• Create a safe, structured and positive classroom environment.
• Adapt teaching methods to support pupils with autism and additional learning needs.
• Monitor, assess and record pupil progress with attainable targets.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and professionals to support pupil development.
• Promote communication, independence, confidence and positive behaviour.
• Build strong relationships with pupils and contribute to wellbeing.
