Prism Arts is seeking a Performing Arts Lead to support learning-disabled and neurodivergent adults in developing their ideas, skills and confidence through an inclusive arts programme.

You’ll lead, devise and rehearse work with Prism Creatives, helping participants shape their own artistic direction across drama, theatre, dance, movement or music. Flexible hours and on-site delivery at Methodist Central Hall are available.

Qualifications

• Experience of inclusive or disability-led performing arts practice.
• Strong skills in one or more performing arts disciplines, to include a good working knowledge of theatre practice.
• Experience of supporting people to devise, rehearse and share creative work.
• An adaptable approach that responds to different access and communication needs and can work across different creative disciplines.
• Experience of coordinating or supervising creative practitioners or volunteers.
• Good organisation, communication and teamwork skills, alongside an understanding of safeguarding and safe performance practice.

Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver group and one-to-one activity.
• Support performances and collaborations.
• Coordinate freelance facilitators, volunteers and interns.
• Work with the Participant Support Lead to reflect access, communication and support needs in the programme.
