Job summary

Telford & Wrekin Council’s Transport Team is seeking Passenger Transport Drivers to operate minibuses delivering safe, reliable transport for pupils, adults and community groups across the borough. You will work with Passenger Assistants and the Transport Office to ensure comfort, dignity and high service standards on every journey.

Applicants should have strong communication and organisational skills with a friendly, flexible approach.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to delivering high standards of customer care.
• Willing to work with diverse passengers including children and adults.
• D1 licence desirable, with willingness to work toward it.

Responsibilities

• Operate minibuses providing specialist transport services.
• Work with Passenger Assistants and Transport Office to ensure safety, comfort and dignity.
• Build positive relationships with passengers, families and care providers.
