Job summary

Allsorts Gloucestershire is seeking enthusiastic Level 2 Swimming Teachers to join our charity team delivering accessible swimming lessons for disabled children and young people. Sessions run on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at National Star College, Cheltenham, with 30-minute lessons, small groups or one-to-one, in a supportive, inclusive environment.

The role focuses on water safety, confidence building, and adapting teaching to individual needs, with annual leave and holiday pay included.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Swimming Teacher qualification or equivalent.
• Passion for inclusive activities.
• Experience with disabled children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver safe, engaging swimming lessons for disabled children and young people.
• Deliver one-to-one and small-group lessons tailored to each swimmer’s needs and goals.
• Follow the Allsorts pathway and record swimmer progress as required.
• Maintain a positive, supportive learning environment that promotes confidence in the water.
