Job summary

Wixams Academy in Bedfordshire is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join our Student Support Team. You will help include students with learning difficulties into mainstream classrooms, enabling access to learning opportunities and helping them reach their potential.

You will work in accordance with the Academy's policies to deliver effective support and promote an inclusive learning environment for all.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with learning difficulties or SEND desirable.
• Ability to follow school policies and adapt to individual needs.
• Commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Support and include students with learning difficulties in mainstream lessons.
• Assist class teachers by implementing tailored learning activities.
• Promote an inclusive classroom and monitor progress with safeguarding best practices.
