Job summary

Academics is seeking a motivated Classroom Assistant to join a mainstream primary school in Woking. You will work in partnership with the class teacher to support learning and foster an engaging classroom environment, bringing enthusiasm and dedication to help children thrive in their educational journey.

As a Classroom Assistant, you will deliver targeted one-to-one and small-group support, especially for pupils with additional needs, and help ensure the school day runs smoothly with lesson

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
• Full-time role 8:30am–3:30pm
• Experience supporting pupils with additional needs (SEN) preferred

Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
• Provide targeted one-to-one and small-group support, including pupils with SEN
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
• Assist with classroom organisation and daily routines
