Job summary

Suffolk New College is seeking a Learning Support and Access Arrangements Manager to lead the Additional Learning Support and Exam Access Arrangements across Ipswich and Suffolk Rural campuses. You will ensure high-quality learner-centred services, timely assessments, and implementation of assistive technologies for learners with SEND.

The role requires a degree (or equivalent), a Level 3 qualification, and maths/english at GCSE level 2, plus experience with JCQ Access Arrangements.

Qualifications

Relevant professional experience in an education / Local Authority environment.
Sound knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and its practical application in education.
Knowledge of best practice models in assessment of need and the allocation of additional learning support.
Knowledge and understanding of JCQ Access Arrangements and Reasonable Adjustments.
Effectively managing and developing teams.

Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of high-quality learning support and exam access across all sites.
Coordinate Additional Learning Support and Exam Access Arrangements functions and resources.
Ensure compliance with statutory/regulatory requirements and robust safeguarding.
